HOW I PACK

HOW I PACK FOR FASTPACKING

Fastpacking is like the ultimate freedom - by going fast and light, the possibilities are expanded, and movement is fun. I recently fastpacked 950km in 23 days across the Canadian Rockies - my 5th mountain range in my long-term project to run solo and unsupported across a mountain range on every continent. Here's everything that I took, and some of my thoughts on packing!

HOW I PACK FOR BIKEPACKING

This is how I pack my bike for bikepacking *usually*. Filmed mid-trip on Vancouver Island with my Shand Stooshie. I did this kit video now because a trip in remote Canada is pretty much the most I would ever pack on a bikepacking trip - with weather, remoteness, and wildlife concerns, a ride out here needs everything! Most places I bikepack I wouldn't use a tent or bear spray, or even a cooking system. I've dialled in my bikepacking setup over a few years to what I like, but I'm always evolving and every adventure is different.
